Maritime & Breakbulk Operations Officer (M/F)

WeCARE Global Logistics, a specialist in transport and logistics, is looking for an Operations Officer to join our team. Do you master export maritime flows and have experience with breakbulk or RORO operations? Join us and let’s build your career together!

Main tasks :

  • Advanced Operational Management
    • Full handling of export/import files (RORO, breakbulk, OOG)
    • Organize pre-carriage, book sea freight, prepare documentation & monitor port calls
  • Technical & Relationship Coordination
    • Primary point of contact (clients, shipowners, carriers, suppliers)
    • Smooth, professional communication in French and English (written & oral)
    • Work alongside the sales team to tailor offers to technical constraints
  • Proactivity & Agility
    • Propose alternatives: rerouting, contingency solutions, supplier negotiations
    • Manage disputes, resolve anomalies, and enforce quality procedures
  • Financial & Administrative Follow-up
    • Issue transport documents (BLs, bookings, etc.) and process invoicing on time
    • Monitor file profitability and optimize resources
    • Provide regular reports to the Operations Director

Required skills :

  • Education: Diploma in Transport/Logistics (Bac+2 to Bac+5) or equivalent
  • Experience: Proven background in maritime operations (RORO, breakbulk, OOG)
  • Technical Skills:
    • Mastery of Incoterms, transport documentation, and industry TMS
    • In-depth knowledge of out-of-gauge and roll-on/roll-off shipments
  • Languages: Professional English (spoken & written)
  • Soft Skills: Rigor, organization, foresight, adaptability, and team spirit

Conditions:

  • Contract: Permanent (CDI) – 35 h/week (08:30–12:00 / 14:00–17:30)
  • Remote Work: 1 day per week
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on profile and experience + employee savings plan (PEE)

Air Transit Agent

WeCARE Global Logistics, a company specializing in transport and logistics, is looking for an Air Transit Agent to join its dynamic team in Vitrolles. If you have a background in transport and logistics, international trade or a related field, and are looking to work in a stimulating environment, we’d like to hear from you.

Main tasks :

  • Coordinate operations between customers, carriers, port and airport authorities, and customs services.
  • Prepare, collect and check documentation required for transit operations (LTA, CO, etc.).
  • Ensure documents comply with current customs regulations.
  • Monitor transit operations from goods collection to final delivery.
  • Resolve any problems or unforeseen events.
  • Keep customers informed about the progress of operations and respond to their requests.
  • Maintain a regulatory watch and keep abreast of developments in the transit sector.
  • Manage administrative formalities for importing and exporting goods.
  • Optimize gross margin.
  • Manage quotations for defined customers and traffic.
  • Update databases and computer systems related to transit operations.
  • Respect internal procedures and actively participate in the continuous improvement of the service.

Required skills :

  • Training in transport and logistics, international trade or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, transit procedures and Incoterms.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, especially transit management and logistics software.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, manage stress and solve problems quickly.
  • Organizational skills, rigor and precision.
  • Ability to make decisions, adapt and manage information.
