What is a container?

A container is a standardized transport unit, designed to facilitate the safe transportation of goods across different modes of transport (sea, air, road). Thanks to its standardized dimensions, it optimizes space and simplifies handling, guaranteeing logistical efficiency over international distances.

DRY – A container for all purposes

TC DRY are fully enclosed and weather-tight marine TCs. This is the most commonly used type of container because it allows to transport all types of goods: boxes, cartons, crates, pallets, drums…

REEFER – temperature-controlled

This type of container is used for transport under controlled temperature. It is equipped with an electric motor to maintain a temperature inside the container.

OPEN TOP – With retractable roof

The characteristics of the Open Top containers are identical to those of the DRY except that it is devoid of a rigid roof and can be equipped with a mobile cover. This type of container is used for the transport of heavy and/or bulky manufactured products, thus allowing the loading of products with a crane.

FLAT RACK – with platform

A Flat Rack container with the particularity of having rigid walls that can be folded over the floor. They are used to transport large, heavy or oversized goods.

CITERNE – tank container

This type of container is used for the transport of liquids (whether or not dangerous), including food.
